Olivier Grondeau, a French man imprisoned in Iran for nearly 900 days, has been freed, as announced by President Emmanuel Macron. Grondeau was detained in October 2022 and sentenced to five years for conspiracy, a charge denied by his family and the French government, which accused Iran of holding him hostage. Macron expressed happiness for Grondeau's return to France and emphasized ongoing efforts to free other French citizens still imprisoned in Iran. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
