Two researchers in Marseille received eight-month sentences for throwing explosives at the Russian consulate on the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. They used homemade explosives but caused no injuries. Arrested at a pro-Ukraine rally, they admitted to taking liquid nitrogen from their lab.
