George Simion tells Euronews: I'll follow in Orbán's footsteps, Hungarians will be our partners
Cikk tartalma röviden
Euronews' Andra Diaconescu interviewed Romanian presidential candidate George Simion, who praised Viktor Orbán and acknowledged the RMDSZ as a political partner. Simion won 40.5% in the first round of the presidential election, which was re-run due to previous annulment. Despite his claims of partnership, the RMDSZ urged voters to oppose him, fearing his anti-Hungarian stance could threaten minority rights. The Hungarian government remains neutral but has criticized Simion's party, AUR, as anti-Hungarian.
