Gérard Depardieu, a disgraced French actor, is facing trial in Paris for allegations of rape and sexual assault against actress Charlotte Arnould. Arnould expressed relief on Instagram after the indictment order was issued, calling it a restoration of judicial truth. The case dates back to 2018, and Depardieu has previously been convicted of sexually assaulting two women on a film set. He has faced accusations from over 20 women, but only one case has proceeded to court.
