Global filmmaking community support Iranian directors before 'propaganda' trial starts in Iran 😊
Cikk tartalma röviden
The global film community supports Iranian directors Maryam Moghaddam and Behtash Sanaeeha ahead of their trial for alleged propaganda against the regime. Their film, 'My Favourite Cake', has faced accusations of obscenity and offending public morality. A petition with over 3,200 signatures calls for the charges to be dropped. The film explores themes of female empowerment in a repressive society, and its creators are currently facing severe repercussions for their work.
