Hillel Neuer, Executive Director of UN Watch, criticized the UN and donor countries for enabling Hamas to radicalize Palestinian youth in Gaza through UNRWA schools. He highlighted the agency's ties to Hamas and called for reforms, rejecting previous investigations as inadequate. UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini warned that closed schools in Gaza are creating a lost generation, exacerbating hatred and violence. The UN has faced accusations of failing to label Hamas as a terrorist organization despite its actions.
