Seven hostages, including two Israelis and five Thai nationals, were released by Hamas in the Gaza Strip as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel. The first released hostage, Agam Berger, was kidnapped on October 7, 2023. One more Israeli hostage is expected to be freed in exchange for 110 Palestinians. The Thai hostages are believed to be agricultural workers captured during the same attack. The exchange marks the third since the ceasefire agreement was established earlier this month.
