Shosh Bedrosian, the Israeli government spokesperson, announced that the release of hostages is expected early Monday. All 20 living hostages will be handed over to the Red Cross simultaneously, without any propaganda from Hamas. They will then be transported to Israeli-controlled areas in Gaza and later to southern Israel to reunite with their families. Israeli authorities have also prepared medical units for immediate care if any hostages require urgent treatment. Bedrosian noted that the entire country mourns those hostages who died in captivity and ensures they receive proper Jewish burials.
