Branko Bacic, the Croatian Minister of Construction, presented the national housing policy plan for 2030, aiming to provide affordable and sustainable housing with an estimated budget of 1.2 billion euros. The plan addresses various sectors, including demographic, social, economic, financial, territorial, and environmental policies. It aims to tackle high property prices and rental costs, with three main goals: ensuring affordable housing, providing suitable land for residential properties, and implementing tax measures to encourage long-term rentals.
