Marco Langbroek, a space situational awareness lecturer at TU Delft, discusses the complexities of tracking spy satellites and the increasing militarization of space. He highlights the challenges posed by the growing number of military satellites and satellite constellations, such as SpaceX's Starlink, which complicate monitoring efforts. Langbroek expresses concern over aggressive actions in space, including anti-satellite systems, and emphasizes the need for transparency and investment in tracking capabilities to ensure safety and accountability in space.
