Hundreds of medical staff with non-EU diplomas are on a three-day hunger strike in France to protest their precarious working conditions and seek better protection. Around 300 participants, including diabetes specialist Abdelhalim Bensaïdi from Nanterre Hospital, highlight their low earnings compared to EU counterparts and the uncertainty of their contracts. French President Emmanuel Macron acknowledged the issue, and reforms are promised to improve their status. A demonstration is planned outside the Ministry of Health in Paris.
