On International Women’s Day, women worldwide protested against gender inequality and violence. Major rallies occurred in cities like Brussels, Rome, Athens, and Istanbul, where activists highlighted the threats to women's rights due to rising far-right movements and called for radical changes in societal attitudes. Participants expressed solidarity and empowerment, demanding better protections and rights for women, including migrant women. The protests also addressed issues like domestic violence and discrimination, with a focus on the need for systemic change.
