Hungarian and Chadian soldiers will conduct a joint military exercise aimed at enhancing counter-terrorism capabilities and cooperation, as stated by Hungary's Ministry of Defence. The exercise, part of NATO's collaboration with African partners, will take place in Côte d'Ivoire with over 500 troops from more than 30 countries. Hungary's involvement is linked to its strategic partnership with Chad and aims to address terrorism and illegal migration. Despite this cooperation, Chad is distancing itself from Western military ties. The Hungarian government has also provided financial assistance to Chad and plans to send soldiers to train local forces. Teljes cikk (Telex.hu)
