Hungary's government is withdrawing from the International Criminal Court (ICC) following a visit from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is under an ICC arrest warrant. Hungary will be the first EU nation to leave the ICC, which has jurisdiction over war crimes. The withdrawal process requires notification to the UN and will take effect in a year. The ICC had previously stated there were reasonable grounds for Netanyahu's criminal responsibility regarding alleged war crimes during the Israel-Hamas conflict. Teljes cikk (bbc.com europe)
