Cikk tartalma röviden
Investigations by Naples' Cultural Heritage Protection Unit uncovered a rare 11th-century medieval church after illegal excavations by an entrepreneur. The site, featuring a semi-circular frescoed apse and marble flooring, is significant for its historical value. The entrepreneur faces charges for looting and destruction of archaeological sites, with numerous artefacts seized, including pottery and coins. Further studies will be conducted to secure and protect the area.
