Cikk tartalma röviden
Finance Day at COP29 featured protests demanding climate finance for vulnerable communities. Activists displayed a giant invoice detailing costs of climate change impacts, emphasizing the need for rich countries to provide 'trillions, not billions'. Teresa Anderson from ActionAid highlighted the debt owed to the Global South, while Sylvia Kijangwa from Tanzania called for justice for women and children affected by the climate crisis. Ongoing negotiations aim to establish a new climate finance goal, with activists linking the climate crisis to the war in Gaza.
