A Polish family, after a decade-long investigation, has reconnected with the story of Jozef Domanski, who was kidnapped by the Nazis at 14 and lost contact with his family. Despite surviving WWII, he never saw them again and stopped writing in the 1980s. His death in 2012 led to an investigation that revealed he had suffered an accident preventing him from communicating. The family received over £100,000 from his estate, which they hope will inspire others separated by war.
