The head of the UN nuclear agency, Rafael Mariano Grossi, expressed concerns about Iran's plans to significantly increase its near weapons-grade uranium levels by installing 6,000 new centrifuges. Iran currently enriches uranium at 60%, close to the weapons-grade level of 90%. Grossi warned that if all centrifuges operate, it would represent a significant escalation. This comes after Iran launched a Simorgh rocket, which critics believe supports its ballistic missile program. MI6's Richard Moore reiterated that Iran remains a threat despite setbacks faced by its allies.
