Iran rejected a US proposal to pause the war and intensified attacks on Israel and Gulf countries, including an assault on Kuwait International Airport. Iranian officials stated that the war will end on Iran's terms, not the US's. The US proposal included sanctions relief and limits on Iran's nuclear program, while Iran presented its own five-point plan, which includes reparations and control over the Strait of Hormuz. Negotiations face significant challenges due to distrust and ongoing hostilities.
