On the third anniversary of the Hamas-led attack on October 7, 2023, Israelis observed a moment of silence to honor the 1,200 victims and the hostages taken. The day was marked by personal reflections from survivors, including Elkana Bohbot, who was abducted and spent 738 days in captivity. Despite ongoing tensions and military actions in Gaza, the commemorations highlighted the profound impact of the tragedy on Israeli society.
