Israeli military forces intercepted the Global Sumud Flotilla, which aimed to break the naval blockade of Gaza, in international waters near Greece. The flotilla, consisting of 58 vessels, reported losing contact with 11 boats and claimed 15 were boarded. The Israeli foreign ministry stated that 175 activists were detained.
