Archaeologists in Italy have discovered a 2,000-year-old basilica designed by Vitruvius in Fano, Le Marche. This significant find, likened to Tutankhamun's tomb, was confirmed through columns matching Vitruvius' descriptions. The basilica is the only building attributed to Vitruvius, whose works influenced architecture for centuries. The discovery is expected to enhance Fano's cultural and tourism profile.
