The 15th annual The Stage Awards celebrated achievements in UK theatre, recognizing various winners including Nottingham Playhouse and Orange Tree Theatre as Theatre of the Year. The Well Walk Theatre was awarded Theatre Building of the Year, while Michael Harrison was named Producer of the Year. Michael Patrick received the Judges’ Award for his adaptation of 'The Tragedy of Richard III' despite his illness.
