The EU's foreign policy chief congratulated Lebanon on the formation of its first fully-fledged government since 2022, led by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. Salam's cabinet, consisting of 24 ministers from both Christian and Muslim sects, was formed amid ongoing economic crises and security challenges following a war with Israel.
