Cikk tartalma röviden
The Maugein company, a historic French accordion manufacturer, is facing compulsory liquidation after 105 years of operation. Founded in 1919, it has supplied instruments to renowned musicians but has struggled against Chinese competition and the impacts of the Covid pandemic. Despite efforts to diversify, the company has seen a decline in orders. Former President François Hollande expressed hope for new investors to preserve the brand and its musical heritage.
