Left-wing candidate Hitler Mussolini wins local vote in Peru

Hitler Mussolini Simeón Flores, a 45-year-old candidate from the centre-left Ahora Nación party, has been elected mayor of Queropalca, Peru, securing 34.5% of the votes. This election follows a trend in Peru where individuals with unusual names, including Hitler, have successfully run for office. The district has a small population, and the election reflects the diverse political landscape in the country after a right-wing presidential victory.
