Goran Vesic, the Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, announced his resignation following a tragic accident at the Novi Sad railway station that resulted in 14 fatalities. He stated he would submit his resignation on Tuesday after a three-day mourning period. Vesic emphasized he does not feel responsible for the accident and highlighted that an investigation would clarify the circumstances. The railway station, which had undergone renovations, had parts of its structure collapse, injuring several others. The Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, demanded accountability for the incident.
