Boom Supersonic, a US company based in Colorado, is developing the first supersonic passenger aircraft since Concorde, called Overture. The company recently achieved a milestone by breaking the sound barrier with its small-scale test aircraft, the XB-1. Boom aims to address past issues of noise, fuel efficiency, and costs that plagued Concorde, targeting business travelers with a more affordable ticket price.
