Málaga evacuates thousands as Spain issues more flood alerts
Cikk tartalma röviden
Thousands have been evacuated from Costa del Sol, Spain, due to a red weather alert for extreme rain and flooding. The Civil Protection Agency warned of severe risks, particularly affecting Málaga province and tourist areas like Marbella and Estepona. Schools are closed, and many have been advised to leave their homes near the Guadalhorce River. The weather system, known as 'Dana', is expected to bring torrential rain, with parts of Valencia and Andalusia also on alert. The situation follows recent devastating floods that killed over 220 people.
