A suspect was arrested after a viral video captured an alleged attempted rape of Jhordana Dias, a 26-year-old Brazilian woman, on a train near Paris. The incident, which occurred on October 15, has sparked discussions about women's safety in France. The attacker, who claimed to be a 26-year-old Egyptian national, was apprehended by transport police in Mantes-la-Jolie. The footage shows the man fleeing as the train arrived at a station, and another passenger, Marguerite, filmed the incident, helping to prevent a more serious attack. Ms. Dias filed a complaint with police with her brother's assistance, and other women have since reported similar experiences.
