A 24-year-old Algerian man jumped onto a high-speed train in Austria after being left behind during a stop in St Poelten. He attempted to alert passengers by banging on windows, leading to an emergency stop. He had a confrontation with the train conductor and was later arrested. A similar incident occurred in Germany with a fare-dodger.
