Manchester United has appointed Ruben Amorim as their new head coach, effective from November 11. The 39-year-old Portuguese coach, previously with Sporting Lisbon, has signed a contract until June 2027. Amorim is recognized as one of Europe's most promising young managers, having led Sporting to two league titles. He will inherit a struggling Manchester United team currently ranked 14th in the Premier League. Amorim's first match will be against Ipswich on November 24, and he may bring several coaches with him.
