Mass demonstrations in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities are demanding the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war held in Russia, particularly those captured at the Azovstal steelworks. Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskyy presented images of soldiers before and after captivity to US President Donald Trump. The number of POWs is estimated to be over 8,000, with nearly 37,000 Ukrainians missing. Reports indicate a sense of global indifference towards the situation.
