Amazon employees are expressing concerns that senior leadership is misleading the public about the company's environmental impact, as revealed by a new survey. Ahead of the busy retail weekend, workers from 20 countries plan to strike, supported by over 80 organizations in the 'Make Amazon Pay' campaign. The survey indicates that many employees believe Amazon is not prioritizing climate issues in its business decisions, despite a 2019 climate pledge. Employees are calling for greater accountability and transparency regarding carbon emissions, and they criticize Amazon's involvement with fossil fuel companies. The report highlights the negative effects of Amazon's operations on communities and urges collective action among workers to demand better practices.
