An international team of scientists is embarking on a two-month expedition to Greenland to study the melting glaciers and their impact on the Atlantic Ocean and global climate. The GIANT project aims to understand the meltwater's effects on sea levels and ocean currents, particularly the Subpolar Gyre. Researchers will use advanced technologies to gather data and develop an Early Warning System to help predict glacier changes and prepare for climate change consequences.
