Max Romeo, a famous Jamaican reggae artist, passed away at the age of 80 due to heart complications. Born Maxwell Livingston Smith in 1944, he gained fame in the 1960s with his hit 'Wet Dream', which was banned by the BBC but still made it to the UK top 10. His music became synonymous with the Jamaican social-democratic movement in the 1970s. He later moved to New York and contributed to the musical 'Reggae' and worked with the Rolling Stones.
