Manmohan Singh, the former Indian Prime Minister, passed away at the age of 92. He was revered as the father of India's economic liberalization and was mourned by current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Singh served from 2004 to 2014 and was the first Sikh Prime Minister of India. He played a crucial role in ending the country's economic isolation in 1991. Singh was admitted to AIIMS hospital in New Delhi after losing consciousness at home and was declared dead there.
