Meta to replace fact-checkers with 'community notes' system similar to X 😔
Cikk tartalma röviden
Meta is replacing its fact-checkers in the US with a community notes system, similar to Elon Musk's X platform, to prioritize free expression. CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the change is influenced by recent elections and criticism from Donald Trump. The new system allows users to add context to misleading posts, but has faced criticism for not effectively countering misinformation. Additionally, Meta plans to simplify content policies and reduce restrictions on various issues.
