The new trailer for Disney's live-action Moana has been released, sparking mixed reactions from fans. Critics argue that the remake is unnecessary and comes too soon after the original and its sequel, accusing Disney of nostalgia baiting. The trailer features Catherine Laga’aia as Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui, but many are skeptical about the film's value. The release date is set for July 10, 2026, coinciding with Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which may impact its box office performance.
