Polls have closed in Moldova for the presidential election and a referendum on EU membership. The No vote leads with 53.9%, surprising many who expected a Yes victory. President Maia Sandu accused foreign forces and criminal groups of vote-buying, claiming 300,000 votes were bought. Sandu is leading in the presidential election but may face a run-off against Aleksandr Stoianoglo. Voter turnout was over 51%. Allegations of vote-buying were reported, particularly in the breakaway region of Transnistria. Teljes cikk (bbc.com europe)
