Despite this growth, Moroccan oil still represents only 7.48% of Spain's olive oil imports, indicating that it remains a minor player in the market. The increase is attributed to a strong harvest in Morocco and a decline in Spanish production, but it does not suggest that Moroccan oil will replace Spanish oil in the near future.
