In September, prices in the Netherlands increased by 3.5% year-on-year, slightly slower than the 3.6% rise in August. Monthly prices dropped by 0.5%, marking the first decline since November 2023, primarily due to a significant decrease in motor fuel costs. Food and non-alcoholic beverages saw a price increase of 2.2%, while clothing and footwear rose by 1.8%. The harmonised consumer prices (CPI) rose by 3.3% year-on-year, maintaining the second-highest inflation rate in the Eurozone. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
