New atlas reveals organ-by-organ shifts in women’s bodies during menopause

A study from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center has created a large-scale atlas of female reproductive system ageing using AI. It analyzed tissue images and gene expression data from 304 women aged 20 to 70 to understand how reproductive organs age differently, revealing that not all organs age at the same rate.
