A new oil pipeline between Hungary and Serbia is set to be constructed, with completion expected by 2028. Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced the project in Belgrade, highlighting a 130 billion forint investment and an expansion of the pipeline capacity. The construction is anticipated to begin by the end of this year or early next year, ensuring a stable oil supply to Serbia amidst challenges in energy security due to the war in Ukraine.
