Niger's military junta has banned the French aid organization Acted from operating in the country, further straining relations with France. The interior ministry revoked Acted's license without explanation, and another group, APBE, also had its license withdrawn. Acted had been active in Niger since 2010, assisting communities affected by violence and disasters.
