Seven Portuguese police officers have been arrested on serious charges including torture and rape at a Lisbon police station. The investigation may involve around 70 officers, with disciplinary actions initiated by the PSP. Two other officers are already detained on similar charges. Officials emphasize the need for swift action and internal control within the police force, while concerns about recruitment standards and ethical training are raised.
