North Korean troops have reportedly suffered casualties while fighting alongside Russian forces in the Kursk region against Ukrainian forces. This marks the first reported losses since North Korea sent around 10,000 troops to support Russia's war effort. Ukrainian President Zelensky mentioned that these troops, lacking combat experience, have been engaged in combat recently. The GUR reported at least 30 North Korean troops killed or wounded, with specific incidents occurring in Kursk villages. Zelensky also shared footage suggesting North Korean involvement in assaults and efforts by Russian troops to conceal their presence.
