The tomb of poet Joachim du Bellay has been discovered during restoration work at Notre-Dame cathedral. Scientists believe a lead coffin found beneath the transept belongs to him. Du Bellay, a key figure in French poetry, was buried in Notre-Dame but his tomb was never located until now. Analysis of the skeleton suggests he suffered from health issues in life.
