The Dutch activist group Follow This is pausing its climate activism due to a decline in investor interest in climate resolutions at oil and gas company shareholder meetings. This decision follows a trend of major oil companies like BP and Shell backtracking on their climate commitments. Follow This has historically pushed for shareholder action to align with the Paris Agreement but has seen diminishing support recently. The group aims to continue engaging with investors to promote climate action despite the current challenges.
