A new mural of Josephine Baker has been unveiled in northeast Paris, celebrating her legacy as a performer, spy, and civil rights activist. The artwork, created by urban artist FKDL, is part of a street art festival aimed at enhancing community spirit. Baker's son, Brian, expressed his emotional connection to the mural, which symbolizes freedom and resistance. Baker, who became a star in the 1930s after moving to France, was also known for her bravery during WWII and her involvement in the civil rights movement.
